Maltreatment of elderly and adults’ persons in a vulnerable situation is unfortunately still a topical issue.
We are offering our members the opportunity to take a 2.5-hour training course on the issues and measures in place to combat this phenomenon.
In addition, the training will provide you with more skills to better spot this type of situation.
Training with two objectives:
- Understand the scope of the main provisions of the “Loi visant à lutter contre la maltraitance envers les aînés et toute autre personne majeure en situation de vulnérabilité”
- Explore the various types of abuse and their indicators.

Registration policy
The cost to participate in this training is $30 per person (rate reserved for RPCU members and taxes included).
Registrations are managed in order of prioritý according to the date of receipt of the registration form.
Validation of your registration is subject to authorization from your home committee.
Once your registration has been validated by the RPCU, the registration fee must be paid no later than 30 days after the training date.

It is possible to register up to 72 hours before the start of the course.
Cancellation policy
Participants who fail to give prior notice of their absence will be invoiced.
Requests for refunds should be sent to formations@rpcu.qc.ca.
Payment terms and conditions
An invoice will be issued for registrations and sent to your home committee. Payment can be made by cheque or direct deposit.
