Terms and Policies

Companions

  • Accompanying persons of people with reduced mobility and individual interpreters may attend the entire congress free of charge. However, the person being accompanied must add their attendant or interpreter to their congress registration form.
  • RPCU does not cover the cost of transportation or accommodation for accompanying persons or interpreters.

Registration policy

  • Registrations for the RPCU Congress are managed in order of priority according to the date of receipt of the registration form. RPCU's validation of registration is conditional upon payment of the conference registration fee
  • Once the congress registration has been validated by the RPCU, the registration fee must be paid no later than 30 days after the validation date, failing which the participant loses registration priority.

Cancellation policy

  • Until July 31: a fee of 15% of the total amount paid will be retained for each refund requested.
  • From August 1 to August 31: a fee of 25% of the total amount paid will be retained for each refund requested.
  • After September 1 : no refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after September 1, 2024.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations outside the time limits set out in this policy or in the absence of the participant at the conference.
  • All requests for refunds must be sent to courrier@rpcu.qc.ca.

Workshop selection policy

  • The choice of workshops will be based on the maximum number of people that can be accommodated in the salon where the activity takes place. Once this number has been reached, a second choice will be allocated. The date of receipt of workshop selections and registration fees will be decisive.
  • For some workshops, a minimum of 20 participants is required.

Payment terms and conditions

  • An invoice will be issued for all registrations. Payment can be made by cheque (sent to the address below), direct deposit or credit card.

  • Comme les années précédentes, l’AGA demeure une activité réservée aux membres en règle du RPCU et les personnes-ressources ne sont pas autorisées à y assister ainsi que les non-membres. Une activité sera mise en place pour les personnes-ressources.
  • We remind you that there will be no supper on Wednesday evenings.
  • Tickets for the Spouses' Tribute Dinner will go on sale soon. Registered participants do not need to purchase tickets.
  • Please note that each hotel has its own cancellation policy and that RPCU has no control over these. Any questions on this subject should be put directly to them.
